Sport Pilot Training
- 20 hours of flight training
- 2 hours of cross country training
- 1 solo cross country flight of 75 miles
- Fly during the daytime using visual flight rules (VFR). Three statute miles visibility and visual contact with the ground are required.
- Cross-country flying anywhere in the U.S.
- Fly up to 10,000 feet above mean sea level (MSL).
- Fly solo or with one passenger.
- Share operating expenses with another person.
- Fly in Class E and G airspace (and B, C, and D airspace with appropriate training).
- Allows rental of special light-sport aircraft (S-LSA).
Program Cost- $4330.00* Note: Flight and instruction times vary according to the student's ability and the frequency of flight lessons. This package price is based on the student completing the course in the course in the MINIMUM time needed to earn the certificate: Sport Pilot = 20 hours. If additional flight time or instruction is needed, additional payments may be required.
